If you have been using line for a while and started appreciating the line stickers you might have had the urge to create your own at some point in time but you have no idea where to start…. Well you’re in luck because here is what you need.

First off all you will need a line creator account, in order to get this account, you will need a standard line account.

Secondly you will need to read through the sticker guidelines, yes they review the stickers based on requirements.  Although I have seen some stickers that conflict with the said guidelines, but I’m not the one to judge.

Thirdly you will need a PayPal business account to where you would like the funds to be transferred into, this PayPal account needs to be link to your personal bank account (In South Africa this is FNB)

For creators residing outside of Japan you can apply for tax convention, this is if your current country has a tax convention set up with Japan.  If you didn’t know, a tax convention is a tax release from Japan, this is not a full tax release.

there is various software available for you to use in your sticker creation phase, free and not so free. I have done the effort of finding these vendors for you to choose from.  I am not going to choose the one you should use but I will recommend 2 of them. One of which is free and the other that is not.

The two I would recommend is Krita and Sketchbook Pro, the reason for this is the availability of tutorial videos on the World Wide Web and also its user-friendliness.  Krita is more of a knockoff Photoshop done with extreme professionalism and Sketchbook pro is purely a sketching software that is quite possible the easiest, most intuitive and most professional package out there, but it comes at a price.  Not a high price, but a price still.

Check out these videos for tutorials on how to use Krita and Sketchbook alike.
